A dependable two-person tent at an entry-level price. The Waypoint 2 uses two crossing aluminum poles in a classic dome shape, with a single door and vestibule on one side, and pitches in about five minutes using color-matched clips and fly buckles.
The fly is 68-denier polyester with a 2000 mm polyurethane coating and factory-taped seams, and the floor is 150-denier coated polyester that copes with rough ground. Mesh upper walls vent condensation, and two small pockets hold headlamps. It packs to 2.4 kg (5 lb 5 oz), heavier than premium tents but manageable for weekend trips and easy to justify as a festival or car camping tent.
Includes stakes, guylines and a roomy stuff sack that does not require perfect folding. Two-year warranty. Shown in spruce green with gray accents.
