Description
Six sleepers, a pair of cots or a camp table for rainy card games all fit under the Clearwater’s straight cabin walls, with 198 cm (78 in) of peak height across most of its 9.3 square meter (100 sq ft) floor. An internal divider splits it into two rooms, each with its own door.
Steel uprights at the corners and an aluminum roof frame form a stable box that sets up in about 20 minutes. The polyester-cotton canopy breathes better than coated nylon and stays cooler in sun, while a partial rainfly covers the roof and upper windows. Floor seams are welded rather than stitched, and a zippered port lets an extension cord in at campgrounds with hookups. Packed weight is 14.5 kg (32 lb), and it fits in most sedan trunks.
Before the first trip, pitch it and wet it thoroughly once; the cotton fibers swell and tighten the weave. Shown in off-white with a pine green rainfly.
