Description
Built for exposed camps where wind and snow loading decide whether a tent survives the night, the Cornice 2 uses four crossing aluminum poles and a full-coverage fly that meets the ground on every side. Twenty-four guy-out points, including high attachment points on the fly, let the tent be tensioned against gusts from any direction.
The inner is solid breathable nylon with closable vents rather than mesh panels, holding warmth in and keeping spindrift out. Snow flaps around the base can be buried to seal the gap, and a tunnel door at the rear allows two tents to be joined or a second exit to be dug. The fly is 40-denier ripstop polyester with a silicone coating, and the floor is 70-denier nylon rated to 10,000 mm. Trail weight is 3.3 kg (7 lb 4 oz).
