Description
Built for standing still in real cold: school runs in January, early-morning photography, winter festivals and waiting on train platforms. The Longwinter reaches mid-thigh and carries 700-fill-power responsibly sourced duck down in a baffled body and hood, rated comfortable to around -25 °C (-13 °F) with light layers underneath.
Its outer fabric is a waterproof, seam-sealed polyester twill with a PFAS-free finish, so sleet and wet snow stay outside the insulation. A two-way zip under a snap placket lets you sit or bend easily, and fleece-lined handwarmer pockets sit alongside two cargo pockets. The hood has a removable faux-fur ruff and a wire brim, and internal knit cuffs block wind at the wrists.
Weighs 1.4 kg (3 lb 1 oz) in a size medium. Professional down cleaning is recommended. Shown in deep forest green with a rust hood lining.
