Description
Winter fell running is about managing heat, not hoarding it. The Howgill puts a thin 40 g/m² layer of breathable synthetic insulation across the chest, shoulders and upper back, then switches to stretch grid fleece along the sides and underarms so sweat escapes while you climb.
The windproof ripstop front panel takes the sting out of headwinds and shrugs off light rain. Two zippered hand pockets fit gels and gloves, and a back zip pocket holds a phone. Elastic-bound cuffs, a low stand collar and reflective piping at the back keep the design uncluttered. It weighs 240 g (8.5 oz).
Wear it over a long-sleeve base layer on frosty mornings or under a waterproof when conditions turn. Machine wash cold and line dry. Shown in rust with charcoal stretch panels.
