Description
Legionnaire-style sun protection comes to open-water paddling, fishing and summer hikes above treeline with the Breakwater, a long-billed cap with a detachable neck cape. The cape snaps on at four points and shades the neck and ears; remove it and you have a regular cap for everyday wear.
The fabric is a lightweight recycled polyester rated UPF 50+, and the colored underside of the bill cuts glare reflecting up off the water. Laser-cut vents along the side panels keep air moving, and a wicking sweatband dries fast. An adjustable bungee at the back fits most head sizes and cinches down in the wind. It floats if it blows off the boat. Machine wash cold in a laundry bag and air dry. Shown in off-white with a glacier blue underbrim.
