Description
Scree, sand and pine needles stay out of your shoes with the Boulderfield, an ankle-height gaiter cut from a stretch woven fabric that moves with you at running pace. A hook at the front clips to your laces, and a hook-and-loop tab at the heel attaches to a small adhesive patch on the shoe, or you can run the replaceable underfoot strap instead.
The fabric is breathable and quick drying rather than waterproof, so they’re comfortable on hot summer trails and dry within minutes after a creek crossing. The pair weighs 58 g (2 oz), and a reflective strip at the back adds visibility on early-morning roads. Four heel patches are included. Hand wash and air dry. Shown in ochre with a charcoal underfoot strap.
