Double-layered where it matters, the Frostline has a fold-up cuff that doubles the fabric over your ears and forehead, while the crown stays single-layer so heat can escape as you climb. It’s knit in a 2×2 rib from 100% mulesing-free merino wool that’s soft enough to wear against the skin without the itch of coarser wools.
One size fits most, with enough stretch to sit over a ponytail or under a hood. The rib holds its shape wash after wash: hand wash or machine wash cold on a wool cycle, then lay flat to dry. Wool keeps you warm even when sweaty and can be worn for days without picking up odors. Shown in rust with a thin off-white stripe on the cuff.
