Weekend campgrounds, backyard sleepovers and first family trips are what the Fieldhouse 4 does well. It sleeps four on a 2.4 x 2.4 m (8 x 8 ft) floor, with 152 cm (60 in) of center height, a large front door and a rear window for cross ventilation.
A half-coverage rainfly protects the roof and door, and the polyester walls are coated and seam-taped for summer showers. The floor is a welded tub of heavy polyethylene that keeps ground water out. Two fiberglass poles cross in the center and slide through sleeves, a setup most people learn after one try. There is a zippered port for an extension cord and a gear loft that clips to the ceiling. Packed weight is 5.4 kg (11 lb 14 oz).
