Description
Carrying weight on the hips instead of the shoulders keeps your back cool, and that is the idea behind the Traverse 8. A contoured lumbar body with a foam frame sheet sits on the lower back, while holsters on each side hold 750 ml bottles at an angle you can reach while walking.
Eight liters of capacity takes a packed lunch, a first aid kit, a rain jacket compressed under the top bungee and a camera in the padded main compartment. Removable shoulder straps can be clipped on for heavier days. The waist belt has two zippered pockets and tensioning straps that pull the load close. Made from recycled 420-denier nylon with a water-repellent finish, it weighs 510 g (18 oz).
Popular with fly anglers, photographers and dog walkers. Shown in stone gray with teal accents.
