Squall Waterproof Running Pant

Description

Many mountain races list waterproof pants in their mandatory kit, and the Squall meets that requirement at just 140 g (4.9 oz) in a men’s medium. It packs into its own back pocket to roughly the size of an orange, small enough for a vest pocket.

The fabric is a 2.5-layer waterproof, breathable nylon with fully taped seams and a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. Ankle zips with storm flaps let you pull the pants on over trail shoes, and an elastic waistband with a drawcord keeps them in place. The cut is slim enough not to flap in wind yet leaves room over tights. Small reflective details improve visibility in poor weather. Machine wash on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low to refresh the water repellency. Shown in storm grey.
