Drover Canvas Trail Pant

Description

A rugged pant for bushwhacking, trail work days and cold-weather hikes. The Drover is cut from a 10 oz canvas of cotton and recycled polyester with a touch of stretch, and the front of the legs is finished with a paraffin-based wax that resists brambles, campfire sparks and light rain. The wax can be renewed at home with a bar of fabric wax.

Double-layer knees and seat stand up to kneeling on rock, and the relaxed fit leaves room for a base layer underneath. There are deep front pockets, riveted rear pockets and a utility pocket on the right thigh. It weighs 620 g (21.9 oz) in a men’s 32 waist. Spot clean where possible, since machine washing strips the wax. Cairnwick repairs torn seams and worn-through knees free for the life of the pant. Shown in tobacco brown waxed canvas.
