Description
Scaled for children aged four to nine, the Sprout 12 has a short back panel, narrow shoulder straps and a sternum strap positioned for a smaller chest, so the pack stays put on a trail rather than sliding off one shoulder. Twelve liters is enough for a water bottle, snacks, a fleece and a pocketful of pinecones.
A large top zipper with a chunky, glove-friendly pull is easy for small hands to open and close. There is a name label inside, a reflective patch on the front and a whistle on the sternum strap. The fabric is recycled polyester that can go in the washing machine on a cool cycle after a muddy day. Weight is 290 g (10 oz).
