Description
Carried inside a bigger pack to high camp and then used alone for the final push, the Spindrift 22 compresses into a fist-sized bundle and weighs 340 g (12 oz). Once deployed, it has a removable padded back panel, a webbing hip belt and a lid pocket for sunglasses, snacks and a map.
An ice axe loop with a bungee shaft keeper and a daisy chain on the front give space to attach crampons or a helmet. The collar is extended so a puffy jacket can be jammed in at a stop and the top still closes. Fabric is 100-denier nylon ripstop with a silicone coating that keeps spindrift and light rain out. It also works as a light approach bag on multi-pitch days.
Shown in glacier blue with charcoal webbing.
