Description
The Hogback Mid is a modern, lightweight hiking boot for men who want waterproof protection without the heft of leather. Its upper is a recycled polyester ripstop with welded overlays at the toe and heel, backed by a sealed waterproof bootie. A molded heel counter and locking lace hooks at the ankle hold the heel in place on descents.
The supportive EVA midsole has a TPU shank, and 5 mm lugs in a multidirectional pattern handle mud and loose rock. Each boot weighs 540 g (19.0 oz) in a men’s US 9, and it needs little break-in. The ripstop cleans easily with a soft brush and mild soap, and the sole can be replaced through our resole service when it wears thin. Shown in charcoal with ember orange laces and pull tab, a grey midsole and a black outsole.
