Description

Low, light and waterproof, the Gritstone is designed for moving quickly over wet moorland, rocky edges and muddy woodland. A waterproof, breathable bootie lines the upper, and the seam-taped ripstop outer carries a PFAS-free DWR so it does not soak up water and get heavy.

A 29 mm heel stack with a 6 mm drop and a stabilizing heel clip keep the foot steady on uneven terrain, while a thin rock plate adds underfoot protection. The 5 mm lugs are spaced to release mud. Each shoe weighs 395 g (13.9 oz) in a men’s US 9. In our flex testing, the lining kept water out through 10,000 bend cycles.
