Description
Sixty-five liters and a frame rated for 27 kg (60 lb) make the Longhaul the pack for expedition food carries, winter camping and long off-trail routes without resupply. The suspension combines a full-perimeter aluminum frame with a flexible HDPE sheet, and the hip belt comes in four interchangeable sizes so the pack can be fitted properly.
Two ice axe loops, daisy chains and side compression straps hold snowshoes or a foam pad outside. The lid floats on extendable straps to cap an overstuffed load, and the lower compartment takes a bulky winter sleeping bag. Fabric is 500-denier recycled nylon with a laminated base panel that sheds snow and mud. Size M weighs 2.3 kg (5 lb 1 oz).
