Ledge Leather Approach Shoe

Description

A classic, hard-wearing approach shoe for crag days, via ferrata routes and scrambling. The Ledge has a full-grain leather upper that ages well and conforms to your foot, lined with breathable mesh, plus a rubber rand and toe cap that take the knocks from rock. Shown in tan leather with brown laces and a black rubber rand and outsole.

The outsole combines sticky rubber lugs for the trail with a smooth toe zone for scrambling, and an EVA midsole gives enough support for the hike in. The toe box is slightly roomier than on our Slab Line, which makes it comfortable for all-day wear. Each shoe weighs 430 g (15.2 oz) in a men’s US 9, and a heel loop lets you clip it to a harness. Treat the leather with a wax conditioner after wet days.
