Description
Enamel-on-steel mugs like the Lakeside tend to get used every morning at home and then packed for every camping trip after that. It holds 12 oz (350 ml) and has a rolled rim, and the porcelain enamel is fused to a steel core at high temperature, leaving a glossy finish that won’t absorb coffee stains or odors.
It can sit over a low stove flame or beside the fire to warm cocoa, though the handle gets hot, so keep a glove or pot grip nearby. Enamel can chip if dropped on rock, which many owners consider part of its charm; a chip is cosmetic, but dry any exposed steel promptly to keep rust away. Dishwasher safe. Not for use in the microwave. Shown in off-white with a slate blue rim.
