Description
Coffee stays hot through a second round of refills in the Daybreak, a 1 liter double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel press that keeps brewed coffee above 60°C (140°F) for about two hours with the lid on. Because it’s steel rather than glass, it survives being tossed in a camp bin, and the powder-coated exterior grips well in cold hands.
The plunger uses a two-stage filter, a fine stainless mesh backed by a silicone-edged screen, that cuts down on the grit that usually settles in the last cup. A locking lid prevents spills in the car, and the wide mouth makes rinsing easy. It’s top-rack dishwasher safe, though hand washing protects the exterior finish longer. It handles loose-leaf tea and overnight cold brew just as well. Shown in ember orange with a brushed steel lid and plunger.
