Description
Built around a 1 liter hard-anodized aluminum pot with a finned heat exchanger fused to its base, the Hearth Pro wrings far more heat out of each canister than an open burner. In our testing, a single 230 g canister boiled about 12 liters of water, with each liter reaching a rolling boil in two minutes and twenty seconds. A pressure regulator holds output steady as the canister cools, so the last boils on a cold morning arrive nearly as fast as the first.
The pot locks onto the burner with a quarter turn, and an insulated cozy with a fold-down handle lets you eat or drink straight from it. A strainer lid, a bottom cup that doubles as a measuring cup, and a canister stabilizer all nest inside, and a push-button igniter is built in. The complete system weighs 405 g (14.3 oz) without fuel. Shown in charcoal with a rust orange cozy and smoke grey lid.
