Description
Truck beds, bush planes, boat decks and baggage carousels are hard on luggage, which is why the Haulback is built from 840-denier recycled nylon coated with thermoplastic polyurethane on both sides. The fabric shrugs off mud and drizzle and wipes clean, and the welded base panel keeps wet gear from soaking through onto a car seat.
A wide D-shaped lid zipper with a storm flap opens the full 60-liter main compartment. End pockets separate shoes or a toiletry kit, and an inner mesh pocket holds small items. Removable padded shoulder straps convert the duffel into a backpack for walking between terminals, and six lash points let it be tied down on a roof rack. It packs into its own lid pocket when empty and weighs 1.3 kg (2 lb 14 oz).
