Description
Stiffer and more protective than a standard hiking boot, the Corrie is made for scrambles, glacier approaches and high trekking routes. The upper combines 2 mm suede with a high-abrasion synthetic fabric and a full rubber rand, all over a waterproof membrane. A rear heel welt accepts hybrid crampons, giving it a B2 rating. Shown in mustard ochre with a black rand and outsole.
A stiff nylon midsole plate and polyurethane cushioning provide stability on steep ground while still allowing a natural stride on long approaches, and a smooth climbing zone at the toe helps on rock steps. Each boot weighs 780 g (27.5 oz) in a men’s US 9. When the tread wears, our workshop can replace the outsole and rand. Pair it with Harrow Peak gaiters for snowy approaches.
