Description
Runners, cyclists and trail racers get an uninterrupted field of view from the Riptide, a wraparound shield with no frame edge along the bottom of the lens, so nothing blocks peripheral vision on technical descents. It weighs 24 g (0.8 oz) and stays put thanks to adjustable nose pads and rubber temple tips that grip better as you sweat.
The single cylindrical lens is photochromic, lightening in shade and darkening in bright sun, and a mirrored coating cuts glare. Vents along the top edge prevent fogging on steep climbs. A zippered semi-rigid case holds a spare clear lens for night runs. Frame and hinges are covered for two years. Shown in matte teal with a mirrored copper lens.
