Description
Twelve stainless steel spikes per foot, each 10 mm long, bite into packed snow and ice on winter trails, frozen sidewalks and icy approaches where full crampons would be overkill. The spikes hang from welded chains attached to a stretchy elastomer harness that pulls over hiking boots, trail runners and winter boots, and it stays flexible from -30°C (-22°F) to summer temperatures.
A hook-and-loop strap across the instep keeps them snug on narrow shoes, and a heel tab makes them easy to pull on with gloves. The pair weighs 390 g (13.8 oz) and packs into the included zippered bag so the points don’t damage the rest of your gear. Rinse and dry after use. Available in four sizes.
