Description
Two doors, two vestibules and a freestanding hubbed pole set make the Larch 2 easy to live with on multi-day trips. It pitches in under four minutes, and because the pole frame clips to both the inner tent and the fly, it can be pitched fly-first in rain so the inner stays dry.
Near-vertical walls give 2.9 square meters (31 sq ft) of floor area and 102 cm (40 in) of headroom, enough for two people to sit up and play cards. The fly is 15-denier ripstop nylon with a silicone and polyurethane coating, the floor is 20-denier with a 3000 mm rating, and the poles are anodized aluminum with color-coded clips. Trail weight is 1.47 kg (3 lb 4 oz).
Interior pockets at both ends and a ceiling organizer hold headlamps and phones, and a matching footprint is sold separately. Shown in moss green with sand-colored details.
