Description
At 790 g (1 lb 12 oz) packed, the Wisp 1 is for thru-hikers and fastpackers counting every gram. It is a single-wall shelter pitched with one trekking pole and six stakes, which removes tent poles from the kit entirely, and a steep front wall with a zippered vestibule sheds wind and rain.
The canopy is 20-denier silicone-coated ripstop nylon, and the 30-denier floor has a 3000 mm hydrostatic head and a bathtub shape that rises 12 cm (5 in) at the edges. Mesh panels along the sides and a high peak vent manage condensation, the main tradeoff with any single-wall design. Floor space is 213 x 76 cm (84 x 30 in) with 117 cm (46 in) of peak height.
Seams are factory taped. Stakes and a stuff sack are included; the trekking pole is not. Shown in pale sand with ember orange guylines.
