Description
Crag days mean a rope, a rack, shoes, harness, lunch and too much water, and the Crag 45 hauls it all from the car to the base of the route. A full-length zipper opens the pack like a duffel, so the rope and rack lie in plain view instead of disappearing into a deep top-loader.
An external rope strap and a rope tarp are included; the tarp unrolls as a clean ground cloth at the base of the wall. A padded hip belt and framesheet make it comfortable on long approaches, and a haul loop at the top allows short hauls on multi-pitch routes. The 1000-denier coated polyester body and laminated base stand up to talus and sandstone. Weight is 1.8 kg (4 lb) including the rope tarp.
