Description
At 145 g (5.1 oz), the Screebank meets the waterproof jacket requirements of most mountain ultras while packing down smaller than a soft flask. It uses a 7-denier 2.5-layer nylon with fully taped seams and a 20,000 mm hydrostatic head rating, so it is a genuine storm layer rather than a glorified windshirt.
The hood has an elastic face opening and a stiffened peak that keeps rain out of your eyes on fast descents. There are no pockets, just a stuff sack sewn inside with a hook for clipping to a vest strap. Thumb loops, a dropped back hem and reflective trim at the shoulders round it out.
Treat it gently: avoid abrasion from heavy packs and wash on a delicate cycle with a technical cleaner. Shown in citrus yellow with black trim.
