Description
When the forecast reads single digits, the Whiteout 0 delivers a limit rating of 0°F (-18°C) with 800-fill-power responsibly sourced goose down and a hood built for real cold. Its insulated collar seals around the neck with a snap, and the face opening draws down to a palm-sized hole with one pull.
Baffle walls are taller than on Northwend’s three-season bags, giving the down room to loft to about 25 cm (10 in) of total thickness. A water-resistant treatment on the down helps it recover over several nights of condensation, and the 20-denier shell adds a more water-resistant panel at the hood and footbox, where frost collects first. An interior pocket keeps batteries and a water filter from freezing. The bag weighs 1.6 kg (3 lb 8 oz).
Shown in off-white with a slate blue lining.
