Description
Budget-friendly and hard to wreck, the Trek 3 is a 3.8 cm (1.5 in) self-inflating pad for car camping and backpacking. Its open-cell foam core fills with air on its own once the valve is opened and provides an R-value of 3.4, enough for three-season use.
The top fabric is a textured polyester that holds a sleeping bag in place, and the bottom is thicker 150-denier polyester to handle sticks and gravel. A large twist valve is easy to operate with cold hands and can be replaced if damaged. The pad measures 183 x 51 cm (72 x 20 in), weighs 1.2 kg (2 lb 10 oz) and rolls up with two attached compression straps.
Wipe clean with mild soap and store unrolled when possible. Covered by a two-year warranty. Shown in olive with a gray base.
