Description

A waterproof, breathable membrane bonded inside the Talus Ridge keeps feet dry through wet grass, shallow puddles and cold shoulder-season rain. Seam sealing extends up to the gusseted tongue, and a PFAS-free water-repellent finish on the outer mesh stops the fabric from wetting out and getting heavy.

The platform is cushioned for long days, with a 32 mm heel stack, an 8 mm drop and 4.5 mm lugs for mud and loose gravel. The membrane does make it warmer than an unlined runner, so it is best from autumn through spring rather than in midsummer heat. Weight is 330 g (11.6 oz) in a men’s US 9. To keep the membrane working, brush off dried mud and rinse with clean water rather than detergent. Shown in slate blue with charcoal overlays, a grey midsole and a black outsole.
