Cornice Mid Trail Running Shoe

Description

A mid-height stretch-knit collar hugs the ankle on the Cornice Mid, keeping out snow, scree and grit without a separate gaiter. It suits winter trail running, skyrunning routes on loose ground and fastpacking trips where ankle coverage is welcome.

Underfoot there is a 31 mm heel stack with a 6 mm drop and a full-length rock plate, plus 5 mm lugs in a sticky rubber that grips wet rock and snow. The upper is a water-resistant ripstop with welded TPU overlays and a wide heel pull tab for getting it on. Weight is 340 g (12.0 oz) in a men’s US 9. The knit collar is soft but the overall fit is snug, so wear it on a few shorter runs before a long outing. Shown in burnt orange with slate grey overlays and a grey midsole.
