Description
Two fabrics, placed where they perform best. The Coldfront uses a 200 g/m² merino wool knit across the chest and back for warmth and odor resistance, then switches to a quick-drying synthetic mesh under the arms and along the sides, where sweat builds fastest.
The half zip is long enough to vent on a skin track, and the collar sits close enough to tuck under a helmet strap without rubbing. Seams are offset from the shoulders to avoid pressure under a pack. The fit is trim and long in the torso. It weighs 210 g (7.4 oz).
Machine wash cold and dry flat. Like all Slateford layers, it can be sent in for seam and zipper repairs. Shown in graphite gray with rust underarm panels.
