Bracken 2 Trail Running Shoe

Description

An approachable first trail shoe at a sensible price, the Bracken 2 is made for well-kept trails, park paths and forestry roads. A 30 mm heel stack of durable foam and an 8 mm drop feel familiar to anyone coming from road shoes, and the 3.5 mm lugs grip dirt and gravel without being overly aggressive. Shown in pine green with ember orange laces and an off-white midsole.

This version has a more breathable recycled mesh upper and a slightly roomier toe box. A rubber toe bumper guards against stubbed roots, and the padded heel collar and tongue stay comfortable on longer outings. It weighs 305 g (10.8 oz) in a men’s US 9. The shoe is machine washable on a cool, gentle cycle; take out the insole first and let everything air dry.
