Description
Stability is the point of the Lowfire. Its low, wide burner connects to the canister by a 30 cm braided hose, and four folding legs spread to 17 cm, so the pot supports sit just 9 cm off the ground. That keeps a full 2.5 liter pot steady on uneven ground and lets you wrap a windscreen around the flame without trapping heat over the canister.
For winter trips, a preheat loop routes fuel past the flame so the canister can be flipped upside down and run in liquid-feed mode, holding strong output well below freezing where upright stoves sputter. A fine-thread valve turns down to a gentle simmer for sauces and slow snowmelt. The stove weighs 186 g (6.6 oz) and packs into the included mesh bag. Shown in gunmetal grey with a burgundy braided fuel hose and brass control valve.
