Description
Developed with women on the Fellcraft test team, the Contour 8 moves the bottle pockets outward and lower so they sit beside rather than over the chest, and its shorter back panel fits torsos that most running vests overshoot. The result is a vest that stays quiet and chafe-free on fast descents.
Eight liters carries the mandatory kit for most mountain races: waterproof jacket and pants, emergency blanket, headlamp and food. A bungee on the back secures a spare layer, and pole holders on both sides accept folding poles without taking the vest off. The breathable mesh is recycled polyester with a quick-drying, odor-resistant finish. Two 500 ml BPA-free soft flasks are included, and the vest weighs 190 g (6.7 oz).
