Description
This one lives in a suitcase or the bottom of a bigger pack until it is needed. The Foldaway stuffs into its own inner zip pocket, which becomes a palm-sized pouch with a clip loop, and unfolds into a 20-liter daypack for city walks, summit pushes from camp or carrying groceries home.
The body is 30-denier siliconized ripstop nylon, light enough that the whole pack weighs 105 g (3.7 oz), with bar-tacked stress points at the shoulder strap junctions. The straps use mesh rather than foam to keep the packed size small, and a stretch side pocket holds a bottle. Machine washable on a gentle cycle; hang to dry.
