Description
Thirty-two liters is the sweet spot for long summer days above treeline and for hut-to-hut trips where bedding is provided. The Tarn uses a removable HDPE framesheet and a single aluminum stay, enough structure to carry 12 kg (26 lb) comfortably while keeping the pack itself at 1.28 kg (2 lb 13 oz).
Access comes from the top through a drawcord collar or from the front via a full-length J-zip, so the jacket at the bottom never requires unpacking everything else. The floating lid carries two zippered pockets, and the hip belt has a gear loop on each side. Fabric is 420-denier recycled nylon with a polyurethane coating inside and a PFAS-free finish outside.
The harness adjusts across a 12 cm torso range on a hook-and-loop yoke. Wayfell repairs buckles, zippers and seams for the life of the pack. Shown in rust with charcoal straps and trim.
