Description
The heaviest base layer Mossgrove makes, the Bramble uses a 320 g/m² brushed merino wool knit for polar trips, ice fishing, winter camping and long, still hours in a hunting blind before dawn. It is warm enough to double as a midlayer on its own. Shown in ochre.
A snug balaclava hood covers the neck and lower face, and the quarter-length zip opens for venting. Thumb-loop cuffs lock sleeves into gloves, and a low-profile kangaroo pocket stores hand warmers. Flat seams are positioned away from pack and harness points, and the longer back hem stays tucked. It weighs 390 g (13.8 oz).
Wool is naturally flame resistant and does not melt, which matters around campfires and stoves. Wash cold on a wool cycle and lay flat to dry.
