Stillwater Gravity Water Filter

Description

Hang it from a branch, walk away to pitch the tent, and come back to four liters of filtered water. The Stillwater pairs a 4 liter dirty-water reservoir with a hollow-fiber filter cartridge and a 1.2 m hose, delivering about 1.75 liters per minute with no pumping or squeezing, which makes it the easiest way to supply a group camp.

The reservoir has a wide slider top for scooping from shallow streams and a sturdy webbing handle for hanging. An inline shutoff clip controls flow, and quick-connect fittings snap onto most hydration reservoirs so you can fill them without taking them out of a pack. The filter removes bacteria and protozoa and backflushes in the field by raising the clean line. Packed weight is 330 g (11.6 oz). Shown in slate blue with a charcoal filter housing.
