Women’s Rowan Trail Running Shoe

Description

Cairnwick’s first women-specific trail runner, the Rowan brings the durability of our hiking footwear to a lighter package. A tightly woven, abrasion-resistant mesh upper is finished with a rubberized toe cap and a heel counter molded from recycled TPU, and the collar is lined with a soft, odor-resistant fabric. Shown in heather mauve with charcoal accents and a white midsole.

A 28 mm heel stack with a 7 mm drop gives balanced cushioning for runs up to half-marathon distance, and 4 mm lugs in a long-wearing rubber grip roots and loose dirt. The women’s last has a narrower heel and a higher arch. It weighs 250 g (8.8 oz) in a women’s US 8. Many customers also wear it for long walks and light hikes when they want something nimbler than a boot.
