Description

The Gully 2 starts from a genuinely wide last rather than a stretched standard one, with extra volume across the forefoot and a wide toe box that lets toes splay naturally on uneven ground. The heel stays comparatively narrow, so the shoe does not feel sloppy on descents.

Cushioning is moderate, with a 29 mm heel stack, a 4 mm drop and a flexible rock plate, and the 4 mm multidirectional lugs work well on dirt, gravel and roots. The recycled polyester mesh upper has a durable toe bumper and a padded collar. It weighs 295 g (10.4 oz) in a men’s US 9. Runners with bunions or custom orthotics tell us it gives them room without sizing up. Shown in olive green with a sand toe bumper and heel and a grey midsole.
