Description
The Linnet is a nimble all-round trail shoe on a women’s last, with a narrower heel cup and a lower-volume forefoot than our unisex models. Its 28 mm heel and 22 mm forefoot stack of responsive foam protects on rocky descents without numbing the feel of the trail. Shown in plum with sand overlays, an off-white midsole and a dark grey outsole.
An abrasion-resistant ripstop mesh upper, a heel-locking padded collar and a thin forefoot rock plate add protection without much stiffness, and the 4 mm lugs are shaped for mixed terrain, from forest paths to dry scrambles. It weighs 230 g (8.1 oz) in a women’s US 8. A reinforced toe bumper and quick-drying lining make it a good match for summer races up to half-marathon distance, and the laces tuck into a small garage on the tongue.
