Description
Nothing to inflate, nothing to puncture. The Nook folds accordion-style into a 51 x 13 x 13 cm (20 x 5 x 5 in) block that straps to the outside of a pack, then opens flat in two seconds as a sleeping pad, a sit pad at lunch or a backup layer under an air pad in winter.
Egg-crate dimples trap warm air and add cushion, and a heat-reflective coating on one side boosts the R-value to 2.0. The cross-linked polyethylene foam is PVC-free and will not absorb water, so a quick shake dries it. Full length is 183 cm (72 in), and it weighs 410 g (14.5 oz).
Rinse with a hose and air dry. Shown in sage green with a silver-gray reflective side.
