Description
Synthetic insulation keeps most of its warmth when damp, which makes the Driftwood 30 a good bag for coastal trips, canoe routes and anywhere a tent might get wet. The fill is a continuous-filament polyester made partly from recycled fibers, laid in offset layers so there are no cold spots along stitch lines.
The bag has a 30°F (-1°C) limit and a 40°F (4°C) comfort rating. A semi-rectangular cut gives more room at the knees than a mummy while still tapering enough to limit dead air, and the hood cinches with a one-handed drawcord. It is sold in left- and right-zip versions that can be joined into a double. Weight is 1.36 kg (3 lb), and it is machine washable in a front-loading washer on a gentle cycle.
Shown in teal with a light gray lining.
