Parkway Winter Running Shoe

Description

Cold, slushy roads call for a different kind of trainer. The Parkway uses a tightly woven, water-resistant upper with a sealed toe cap and gusseted tongue to keep out melted snow, and a brushed lining adds warmth without insulation bulk. A low stretch cuff at the ankle stops grit and snow from dropping in.

The outsole is a cold-weather rubber compound that stays pliable below freezing, with 4 mm multidirectional lugs for packed snow and wet leaves. The midsole foam is formulated to resist stiffening in the cold, at 33 mm in the heel with a 9 mm drop. It weighs 310 g (10.9 oz) in a men’s US 9, and a reflective heel tab adds visibility on dark winter evenings.
