Description
At 150 g/m², this is the merino base layer you can wear year-round: on its own on cool summer hikes, under a fleece in autumn and as the first of three layers in winter. The fabric is 100% merino wool from non-mulesed farms, spun from 17.5-micron fibers soft enough for sensitive skin.
Wool absorbs moisture vapor before it turns to liquid sweat, keeping you drier and warmer than synthetics when you stop moving, and it resists odor well enough to wear for several days on a trek. Flatlock seams, offset shoulder panels and a slightly dropped back hem add comfort under a pack. A men’s medium weighs 160 g (5.6 oz).
