Vantage Carbon Racing Shoe

Description

Built strictly for race day, from 10K to the marathon. A full-length carbon-fiber plate curves through the forefoot, sandwiched in 39 mm of high-rebound polyether foam, and the 6 mm drop and pronounced toe spring roll you forward at goal pace. The shoe weighs 198 g (7.0 oz) in a men’s US 9.

The upper is a single-layer warp knit that drains quickly when you grab water at aid stations, with a thin perforated tongue and an internal lace cage that wraps the midfoot. Outsole rubber is limited to a thin forefoot layer and a heel strip, so expect roughly 200 to 250 miles (320 to 400 km) of life; we suggest saving it for races and a few key sessions.
