Description
A light sensor beside the lens lets the Vesper adjust its output automatically as you glance from the map in your hand to the trail ahead, saving battery and cutting glare off nearby rock and signs. Switch reactive mode off and the 450 lumen lamp behaves like a conventional headlamp with three brightness steps and a boost.
The 1,800 mAh battery charges through USB-C, and the included adapter lets it run on three AAA batteries instead, a real advantage on trips longer than a week. Runtime is 6 hours on reactive high and up to 100 hours on low. It weighs 88 g (3.1 oz), carries an IPX4 rating, and rides on a headband made from recycled polyester. Shown in slate blue with a charcoal headband.
